Role of Mathematics in computer science and software engineering:

Computer understands nothing but machine language, which is based on maths.
Maths is important in every field.
Everything in our life has only mathematical patterns.
Maths used in computer science includes concepts such as discrete maths, logic, set theory, Boolean algebra, graph theory, combinatory, relations, functions and recursion.
Ada Lovelace an English mathematician introduced many computer concepts so Ada is considered the first computer programmer. She was Inventor of Charles Babbage which is Analytical engine. (Mechanical computer)
Industries are being disrupted by AI, Artificial Intelligence will create 58 Million new jobs by 2022. So people doing manual jobs in different industries are likely to lose their jobs by 2026.
