During the 1st semester course,
In Childhood and growing up, I learnt about

In Education in contemporary India, I learnt about

I felt that by learning these teaching strategies and executing them in classroom will create a child centered classroom and that the role of teacher will only be a facilitator. When teacher educator taught us these new teaching strategy I had question in my mind, like how to practically execute these strategies, for that the answer I got was in 2nd semester these strategies will be taught by giving demo by teacher educators. I felt vey happy about it.
In development and management of school education,
I learned that to improve the quality of teacher education programs, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) took up a number of initiative.
I learnt about the University Grants Commission (UGC) and came to know that it has initiated several measures to bring equity, efficiency and excellence in the Higher Education System of country. I become aware of the fact that Gender equality prevents violence against women and girls. It's essential for economic prosperity. And Societies that value women and men as equal are safer and healthier.
In ICT in education we used 2 pedagogy tools such as geogebra and phet, video and image editing tool kdenlive and gimp, audio creation tool like audacity, create google form, concept map creation tool, create a document and pdf using google document and collaboration tool, use gmail and whats app as communication tool.
As I was technically strong before joining this course learning these skills become easy. I also helped my friends in learning the ICT skills. But I felt happy that I learnt new tools which will be helpful in teaching-learning field.

I have learned that in the hardcore paper Knowledge and curriculum, The National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2005 has included Peace education as an area of study and recommended that it should be included curriculum of teacher education.
From my friends I came to know that, to enhance the quality of school education Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Teachers are conducted at both level at the state and at the central level.
